Nadel Architecture + Planning, Los Angeles’ premier architecture and design firm, announced the continuation of its expansion plans with the opening of a new office in Phoenix, Arizona. The expansion positions the company for continued growth in the coming months and allows it to capitalize on opportunities in a recovering market, said Greg Lyon, chairman and principal of Nadel. “Nadel has been the leading architecture and design firm in LA for 47 years,” says Lyon. “Our company has always thought about the future and the opening of this Phoenix office fits in well with our tried and tested strategy. Redpath, who has nearly 30 years of retail experience, initially spent five years with the company before joining the company in 2007 just before the Great Recession. “We are very happy to welcome Rick back to our team,” said Lyon. “It’s not just like family for us to bring him back on board, it’s proof of his track record in the industry and real added value for our company. He has extensive knowledge of planning and permissions, design research, site design, prototype and roll-out architecture, and construction management for commercial projects.
