PHOENIX – Phoenix’s Desert Botanical Garden announced last week that Dale Chihuly will be bringing its glass art exhibition down to the valley. According to a press release, the exhibition will present his world-famous glass art in large formats from December 3 to June 18, 2022. “Chihuly in the Desert” will be shown at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West in Scottsdale. “Chihuly and Frank Lloyd Wright, two American originals who are inspired by the country’s unique natural and cultural landscape, are a perfect match for Taliesin West,” said Stuart Graff, President and CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, in the press release. Chihuly’s art can be seen in over 200 museums and has worked in six different gardens around the world, according to the press release. Tickets for Chihuly in the Desert go on sale October 4th. “With our World Heritage buildings and the mountainous desert backdrop, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is presenting its first exhibition of its kind, showing how art, architecture and nature come together to connect our visitors more deeply with the world around them,” said Graff.
