FALLSTON, HARFORD COUNTY – Young volunteers organized Hugs For Horses at the Phoenix Farm and Sanctuary in Fallston. The group members adopt different horses each week to look after over the summer. The students will care for and feed all 26 horses on the farm. Most of the horses living in the sanctuary need special medical care, but most of all they need love and attention, which students are happy to give. The Hugs For Horses program raises funds to support the Phoenix Farm and Sanctuary. It needs things like cleaning brushes, fodder, hay, bedding, etc. Financial donations are also very welcome. If you would like to donate to the Volun-Teens Hugs For Horses program or if you are interested in volunteering on the farm, click here.
