University of Phoenix Launches Digital Marketing Professional Development Courses | Business

PHOENIX – (BUSINESS WIRE) – 7. December 2021–

The University of Phoenix is supporting accelerated learning in a rapidly growing area with the introduction of advanced digital marketing courses. The continuing education courses at the university are designed to help busy adults develop professional skills in growing areas within a short period of time.

According to Emsi Burning Glass, a leading provider of labor market research, there have been over 16,000 unique job openings for positions in digital marketing in the past 12 months. There was a 188% increase over the previous year; from 2,026 unique job offers in the field of digital marketing in November 2020 to 5,832 in October 2021.

“The digital marketing track helps individuals quickly add real-world skills to their toolbox that employers want – so they can stay competitive in today’s growing digital marketing space,” said Mukund Sudarsan, vice president, general manager of professional development at the university of Phoenix.

The new courses on the Digital Marketing Track are assigned to the in-demand skills that employers often publish in job descriptions, as identified by Emsi Burning Glass. These professional skills include understanding search engine optimization, digital media development and lead generation strategies, using Google Analytics, and implementing Google Ads campaigns.

The six-course track can also prepare individuals for the exam on Facebook and Google certification exams. The university’s no-credit continuing education courses are 100% online, self-directed, and typically last around 30 hours so learners can complete them on their own schedule.

Learners can repeat and complete the assessments as often as they want to ensure they understand key concepts and demonstrate the new skill. After successfully completing a course, participants can also showcase their newly acquired skills to employers by sharing a certificate of completion.

The training catalog continues to grow with courses in social media marketing, non-clinical health care, information technology and virtual teaching. The university is expanding its course portfolio for today’s busy professionals who need to train quickly and inexpensively in a changing job market. Further information is available at:
