Friends of the Orpheum Theater, Downtown Phoenix, Inc. and FilmBar bring the classic “Some Like It Hot” to the big Canvas. Tickets are $ 11 for children and $ 16 for adults. First Friday Free admission to the museum Friday, October 1st Downtown Phoenix The first Friday in October offers free admission to: Heard Museum from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Masks are strongly recommended for all visitors regardless of their vaccination status.) Phoenix Art Museum from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. ( A close-fitting mouth and nose mask is strongly recommended to all visitors and employees of the museum.) Children’s museum, from 5 p.m. (mask compulsory from 2 years, regardless of vaccination status.) Black Marketplace buy Saturday, October 2 from 6 – 10 p.m. 918 N Second Street. Archwood Exchange hosts and organizes the Buy Black Marketplace, which takes place in downtown Phoenix on the first Saturday of each month. The event features food, shopping and music. Soulitify Sunday, October 3rd at 11 a.m. Copper Blues at 50 W. Jefferson Street. Soulitify is a cover band influenced by R&B, Pop and Latin that performs at this free event.
