PHOENIX, November 11, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The 100 Black Men of Phoenix, in partnership with the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), is proud to announce the winners of the Women of Color Achievement Awards 2021. A total of twelve women are honored for outstanding professional achievements and exemplary charitable work. The UPS sponsored event will take place on. instead of Thursday, November 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Carson Ballroom on the Old Main, University of Arizona, 400 E. Tyler Mall, Tempe, AZ.

Over 100 black men from Phoenix
The 100 black men of Phoenix (“The 100”) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1988 and consists of 114 professional African American men. The 100 is dedicated to improving the quality of life for African Americans in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area by improving educational and economic opportunities for all. We take active leadership in helping minority youth become participative, competitive, and valued members of society. We currently look after over 100 young people every month with a “role model” approach and have ongoing partnerships with various community organizations.

About the organization of the presidential women
The WPO is the premier peer counseling organization connecting women who own multi-million dollar businesses. In monthly meetings on six continents, chapters of 20 female presidents from various industries invest time and energy in themselves and their companies in order to take their companies to the next level. Local WPO chapters are coordinated by a professional moderator and meet monthly to share business expertise and experience in a confidential setting.

The WPO chapter in Phoenix consists of a dozen high profile female entrepreneurs with sales of $ 1 million to $ 10 million. Industries vary from legal and financial services to advertising and healthcare and beyond.
