A small plane crashed near Gila Bend Airport in Arizona, killing one person and seriously injuring another. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the plane crashed near the airport runway with only two people on board. The only survivor of the crash was thrown from the plane on impact and flown to a nearby hospital. The other person on board was pronounced dead at the scene. The FAA is investigating.
