MILWAUKEE – More than a year after the Sherman Phoenix in Milwaukee closed its doors to gatherings due to the coronavirus pandemic, it will reopen on Tuesday, June 15 with a grand reopening ceremony for public events. The party, with free food, a photo booth, and a dance party, music and self-guided tours, takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Special Guest Governor Tony Evers will stop by for a tour at 1:00 pm “The power of what we started and the glow of our unbreakable spirit continues to glow. Now, on June 15th, we will lift our spirits into a burning wave of love when the Sherman Phoenix reopens, ”said JoAnne Sabir, co-developer of the Sherman Phoenix. “The doors are being ceremoniously reopened, and we are excited to welcome our community back to renewing themselves by being with us – and with each other!” “The Sherman Phoenix has a special kind of energy that it doesn’t be duplicated. You can feel it as soon as you walk through the doors, ”said Chandra Cooper, CEO of Queens Closet, a Sherman Phoenix tenant. “We are more than a marketplace and an entrepreneurial center, we are hope and future for the community.” Here is some information about the Sherman Phoenix celebrations: • Self-guided tours: Not been on the road for a year ?!
