The Convention Center has played a significant role in blending the business and tourism sectors over the past decade and has helped make downtown Phoenix what it is today. The city estimated that $ 235 million in direct visitor spending was lost due to the canceled events and conventions. But since it is now safer to gather together, retail groups and companies want to book or rebook their congresses and conferences again. Read the full story in the Phoenix Business Journal.
