Fly Bye, a Fox Restaurant Concept, is expanding to North Phoenix with the announcement of a second location on the Desert Ridge Marketplace. Sam Fox, the founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts, announced the addition of its latest Detroit-style restaurant creation on Tuesday to Square Pan Pizza and Crispy Chicken. The Fly Bye chicken tenders are kept crispy by a combination of hand breading and buttermilk dipping. The chicken wings are slowly cooked and served naked or tossed in a sauce of your choice. As a native of Detroit, it piques my interest when I hear Detroit-style pizza. Fox is determined to serve hungry Valley residents with Detroit’s famous pan pizza style, with an emphasis on a fluffy crust, cheesy center, and crispy edge. Some of the pizzas featured include The Aviator for meat lovers to a decadently topped black truffle mushroom topped with a creamy Parmesan sauce.
