PHOENIX, Oct.26, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix, which will open its doors later this year, today announced Joseph Wong, MD, as its new medical director. Dr. Wong will manage the medical rehabilitation plan for each patient to effectively bring them back from initial diagnosis to acute care and rehabilitation to their community.
Dr. Wong specializes in the treatment of stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. He is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as a specialist in electrical diagnostics. He has published topics in several medical journals and is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Spinal Cord Injury.

Most recently, Dr. Wong is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician in the Phoenix Community. He received his bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania followed by a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He also earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University Medical School and completed his residency at Stanford University.
