May 8, 2020 Zoo cruise, day one. (Seibert photo) PHOENIX – The last day for visitors to take part in the transit of the Phoenix Zoo will be on Sunday, officials said. The zoo opens at 7 a.m. that day for Cruise the Zoo. Visitors can pass a range of animals including elephants, turtles, cheetahs, flamingos, and orangutans. The last car will be received by 11:45 a.m. at the latest. Tickets for the event must be purchased online in advance. The general public is charged $ 65 per vehicle while Zoom members are charged $ 25.
