Phoenix Suns security guard Chris Paul has been looking for ways to support underrepresented businesses and entrepreneurs. In his partnership with Gopuff, the delivery service he is an investor in, Paul helped develop a plan to highlight some of these companies – business accelerator platform that brings together executives and experts with underrepresented companies to serve them helping grow and bring their products to more people on Gopuff and elsewhere in USA TODAY Sports. “There is nothing comparable to the ability to present and illuminate these entrepreneurs, who sometimes do not have the opportunity to do so.” Paul and Gopuff selected eight companies for the first round: ► A dozen cousins: to eat rice and beans , inspired by traditional Creole, Caribbean and Latin American recipes. ► Cards for All People: a toy and games company that connects different target groups through cultural experiences. ► Cool Cat Wine Spritzers: a refreshing line of low-calorie wine spritzers. ► Donata Skin Food: all natural vegan personal care products. ► French Toast Bites Ale: Beer that captures the flavors of the popular street food from Philadelphia. ► Me & The Bees Lemonade: comes in five flavors and is purely natural. ► Mumgry: nutritious nut butters from ethical sources. ► Pipcorn: healthy snacks made from non-genetically modified super corn.
