Raymond Bachman, 73, of Fountain Hills was one of two pilots killed Tuesday morning after a business plane crashed in eastern Georgia.
GEORGIA, USA – Authorities have identified two pilots who were killed in a business plane crash in eastern Georgia.
According to McDuffie Coroner’s Office, it is 73-year-old Raymond Bachman from Fountain Hills, Arizona; and Claude Duchesne, 63, from El Paso, Texas.
The Dassault Falcon 20 went down in a field in the Thomson area Tuesday morning.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane flew from Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport in Lubbock, Texas to Thomson-McDuffie County Airport in Georgia.
Sheriff’s deputies were notified of a missing aircraft around 6:30 a.m., Major Ronnie Williamson of the McDuffie County Sheriff said. They searched the area and found the wreck in the field, he said.
