PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A man and woman died late Saturday night after a motorcycle accident near 39th Avenue and Camelback Road. Phoenix police say it happened around 9:15 p.m. A man riding a motorcycle collided with a car that was loaded with a man, woman and girl. The man on the motorcycle and the passenger died on the spot, according to the police. They have been identified as 30 year old Shawn Stokes and 46 year old Diana Fletes. The other two occupants of the car were only slightly injured. The investigation continues, but the police believe that the speed of the motorcyclist is a factor in the accident.
