PHOENIX (Show the Love) – Lucky’s Indoor / Outdoor opened its doors in December 2020, a year that brought many unpredictable barriers to the food and beverage industry and the economy at large. From labor shortages to supply and demand issues and more, Luckys has seen it all over the past year. Julian Wright and Nick Nitz of Fork & Dagger Hospitality have acquired this new downtown Phoenix business after many years of co-owned and operated bars in downtown Tempe. This is their first bar in a new territory. Even in the past – and risky – unprecedented times, they decided to open a lovable neighborhood hangout that feels like home and has since grown a large local following. Luckys serves up craft cocktails, beer, wine and food from Chef Amanda Smith, who has worked as a cook in various locally owned bars and restaurants in the area for years.
