Long-running Original Phoenix Greek Festival returns this weekend

PHOENIX – The long-running Original Phoenix Greek Festival returns this weekend after being suspended last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 60th edition of the popular tradition takes place Friday through Sunday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Ave. Music, dance performances, and lessons and shopping. The celebrations take place on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry is $ 5 per day, entry is free for children under 12, and entry is free for those over 60 on Saturday before 3pm. Pets are not allowed. Parking in Church Square is $ 5, but there is a free shuttle service all weekend on the southwest corner of 24th Street and Lincoln Drive.
