Lone River Ranch Water Phoenix Restaurant Tour

If you’ve read our last article, you will know that Lone River Ranch Water was officially launched in Arizona. If you haven’t had a chance to try the West Texas drink, we recommend you do it now. What’s even better, we’ll tell you exactly where to go to get your solution along with a bombshell meal that goes perfectly with this refreshing, fizzy drink. Let’s go! First stop, Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek, Arizona It all started in 1951, the now famous Buffalo Chip Saloon has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a feed and bait shop on the way to Bartlett and Horseshoe Lakes. The original building was only 800 square meters in about 2/3 acres. Today it has grown to 5 hectares and over 6,000 square meters and has become one of the most authentic dance halls and saloons in the country. There really is something for everyone at The Chip. If you enjoy dancing, you can spin your partner to the sound of one of the many bands that play on site. The Live Bull Riding on Wednesday and Friday evenings and the All You Can Eat Fish Fry on Friday evenings are big draws for the whole family. Larry Wendt has owned the Buffalo Chip Saloon since 1999 and made it what it is today. Over the years it has been known as The Crystal Palace, The Maverick, and finally the place we all came to know and love, The Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse. As for the Ranch Water couple they rounded up, they wanted to showcase the Spicy Ranch Water with their homemade brisket sandwich and fried pickles. That sounds like a HOT combo to me and I can’t wait to stop by and try it out on my own! Second stop, Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek, Arizona Don’t go too far after your first stop! As Cave Creek’s original Wild West Saloon and Restaurant, Harold’s is a landmark and popular meeting place for locals and tourists. We celebrate over 80 years of history and good times. Harold’s has 600 indoor seats, 200 outdoor seats, 2 bars, a large stage and dance floor, free country dance lessons on Fridays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and live entertainment from some of the BEST bands in the valley Wednesday through Sunday. Harold’s offers the finest hand-carved steaks and fresh seafood every day. All of our BBQ meats are smoked on site with mesquite wood for a traditional Southwest flavor. Our diverse menu offers everything from salads, steaks, seafood, Italian and Mexican dishes to the best hamburgers in Arizona. For Harold’s pairing, they decided to pair the Prickly Pear Ranch Water with their Carne Asada Tacos. Ready for the next stop? We’re going across the street! Third stop, Mountain View Pub Restaurant in Cave Creek We represented Cave Creek! When checking out the other two locations, you need to complete your time in Cave Creek at the Mountain View Pub. Mountain View Pub is an Irish pub overlooking the beautiful mountains in the heart of Cave Creek, Arizona. They pride themselves on being a family and dog friendly restaurant. They also have live music that you can enjoy overlooking the terrace with mountain views. They focus on Irish dishes but have several traditional American foods as well. More information about the Mountain View Pub can be found here. For their ranch water pairing, they chose the Original Ranch Water with their popular Rueben sandwich! Fourth stop, Belle’s Nashville Kitchen in Scottsdale, Arizona Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Belle’s Nashville Kitchen has stolen the hearts of locals amid Covid since it opened last year. They specialize in fine home cooking, handcrafted cocktails and a full honky-tonk experience straight from the music city itself. Belle’s Nashville Kitchen is a new concept that honors its historic location. This new local favorite serves dishes by award-winning chef Samantha Roberts, they also have a remarkable whiskey selection and feature live local music from the most talented singers and bands from across Arizona. The Ranch Water pairing they went for is the Spicy Ranch Water with their Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich, which features garlic mayo Texas toast with oven-baked macaroni and cheese with garlic fries on the side. Can you say YUM ?! I’m not about you, but I’m on my way to get my hands on this sandwich! Fifth Stop, Bourbon Jacks in Chandler, Arizona If you’re looking for some down to earth honky tonk in Arizona, then Bourbon Jacks in Chandler, Arizona is the place for you. Known for their 7 days a week entertainment and dancing, they also have phenomenal food that shouldn’t be overlooked. This gem in the desert is an absolute must on this restaurant tour! They are also known for their wide range of bourbons, whiskeys, local craft beers, and signature drinks that can be paired with freshly made home cooking for foodies of all kinds. The food pairing they chose was the Rio Red Ranch Water with their “Kick-Ass Nachos”. It doesn’t get any cozier than a large plate of cheesy, tangy nachos! Combine that with the rural ambience and the friendly staff, you won’t find a better experience in the valley. Last stop, Brickies Smokehouse and Grill in San Tan Valley, Arizona If you’re in the South Valley, you’ll definitely want to try Brickies! They are new to the valley and aim to offer fresh sandwiches and burgers along with some of the best smoked meats in the San Tan Valley! You can see their full menu here. For their Ranch Water pairing, they decided to pair the Rio Red Grapefruit Ranch Water with their infamous Carne Adovada Quesadilla!
