Three weeks after a 23-year-old woman was killed in a shooting outside a Phoenix nightclub, friends and family gathered at a charity car wash to raise money for a higher reward. as well as awareness of the unresolved case. PHOENIX – While Phoenix police detectives try to solve a murder that occurred three weeks ago, a fundraiser was held on Aug. 8 to increase the rewards for information related to the deadly shooting. Shot of a Killed Woman Outside the Nightclub The shooting occurred near 17th Street and McDowell in the early hours of July 18. When the officers arrived, they found a woman. identified as Destiny McClain, 23, with a life-threatening gunshot wound. “You can hear that five rounds go off. Could have been more,” said Rafael Martinez in a telephone interview. “We ran over to her and she started CPR. I held her wound with the shirt and wiped the blood from her nose and mouth. We’re just trying to get her pulse going until the paramedics are there and we did, what we could. ” keep her alive. “McClain was rushed to the hospital where she died.” This is the only time she has really left the house and has not made it home. Destiny wasn’t the street type. Destiny was usually home. This was her attempt to be a friend and so “she cost her life,” said the victim’s mother, Brenda Gilliam Miller. The police are unsure if the gunshots were aimed or if it was just a random occurrence. However, Martinez believes the nightclub in the area where the shooting took place, Karamba, has been targeted. “Everyone in Phoenix knows what this is, and when someone thinks it’s okay to do that, it’s very disturbing, especially in this day and age. A woman’s life has been cut, but they need to find the suspect and get this done. “Family,” Martinez said. Fundraiser proceeds will go to Silent Witness On August 8th, a car wash was held at Charlie’s nightclub in Phoenix for a fundraiser instead to increase the reward offered and raise awareness of the deadly shooting. “Almost all of the money donated today will go to Silent Witness to help their case,” said McClains sister Bryana McClain. “Here, to support them, try to raise awareness and hopefully get more people to come forward to help. “Bryana said her sister was a loving person who was always there for friends and family.” My sister was very silly. She loved Winnie the Pooh. She loved her dog. She took care of the people. She was always there for people, even when they weren’t the best for him. Be a good friend, a good sister, ”said Brjana. “It was all a joke with her. We laughed the whole time.
