Here are our tips for some cool things that won’t cost you a dime. “Between Two Worlds” Moving nearly 9,000 miles from Mumbai, India to Chandler, Arizona, Shachi Kale began drawing and painting in order to express her emotions, which she often explored through the stories and images of Western fairy tales. Now her living artwork is on display in a new exhibition titled “Between Two Worlds,” which is on view in the gallery of the Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 North Arizona Avenue, Chandler. See their unique style and thematic approach for free on Monday, September 6th, when the gallery is open from 10am to 5pm. The exhibition lasts until September 25th. Lauren Cusimano Punk Drunk Karaoke Night Celebrate the fact that Labor Day is off with loads of singing while sipping at Rips Ales & Cocktails, 3045 North 16th Street. On Sunday, September 5th, the fascinatingly named, very first Punk Drunk Karaoke Night will take place in the bar. The event starts at 4 p.m. and karaoke goes non-stop until 8 a.m., then there is a short break for a DJ set that consists exclusively of (what else?) Punk tunes. Karaoke starts again at 9 p.m. and continues until 2 a.m. And then you can spend the next day relaxing without going to work – good business.
