On Thursday, July 15, Tucson-based fast food brand eegee’s opens the doors to its first Valley location in Gilbert on the southwest corner of Baseline Road and Val Vista Drive. The restaurant at 3535 E. Baseline Road will be open for dining and takeout, with online ordering and contactless pickup. To celebrate the brand’s Valley debut, eegee’s has teamed up with multiple local partners – including artist Timmy Ham, Fox Restaurant Concepts beverage director Mat Snapp, and musician Jacob Morris – to bring unique deals on opening day and beyond create. “We are lucky to have such loyal fans across Arizona and we are humble by the support and warm welcome we have received to the Valley so far,” said Ron Petty, CEO of eegee’s. “We can’t wait to celebrate our first opening in Phoenix, meet our new neighbors in Gilbert, and grow across the valley in the coming months.” Founded in 1971, eegee’s has had a loyal following of Tucsonans and is proud on its long history of providing fresh, high quality food at its 28 locations with the opening in Gilbert. The newest location will have an area of 3,515 square meters and is geared towards the comfort of the guests. The bright, open concept includes a walk-in order counter , a spacious dining room, as well as a drive-through window Phoenicians can now enjoy eegee’s unique offering of the eponymous frozen drink – an ice-cold mix full of real fruit pieces – award-winning french fries as well as signature subs and grinders. Many of the restaurant’s menu items have a loyal following , including the Ges everyday Eegee flavors such as lemon, strawberry, pina colada and skinny berry; his specialty French fries with typical ranch dressing and bacon; the original grinder on white, wheat or rye bread, freshly baked every day; Salads like the Southwest Chipotle Ranch Chicken; and more. eegee’s is also known for its changing menu with monthly changing eegee flavors such as Lucky Lime, Watermelon and Orange Dream.
