The Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance Center is opening an opening event on Friday, November 12th from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, the “North Phoenix Community Social”. The community-sponsored event welcomes neighbors and businesses in the region to come together and reconnect. There will be food trucks, music, activities for all ages and lots of neighborhood shops showing off their wares. This is going to be a great food filled shopping event for the whole family. Led by members of the North 32nd Community, Margaret Anderson, Judy Peters, and Corinne Milner, and supported by the Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance Center, the North Phoenix Community Social was born out of a desire to re-establish the community after the detachment of the past year and a half connect to. “We’re all ready to go out and see our neighbors and support our community,” said Anderson Community Social, “said Julie Wittenstein, owner of Arizona Sunrays. “We love to give something back to our neighbors, who have been supporting us for over 30 years. Distribution of resources that provide adults and children with essential food. All proceeds go directly to mom’s pantry. Attendees can also help by bringing a few boxes of pasta for Mom’s Pantry storage bin. Anyone who donates pasta receives an additional ticket for participation in a special raffle. Attendees can also donate in person to Mom’s Pantry. Arizona Sunrays is located at 15801 N. 32nd St., Phoenix. There is no fee for participating in the joint event.
