After nearly 2 years, this popular uptown Phoenix bar is reopening with a weekend of events

The Womack is back. After closing in March 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Uptown Phoenix Bar will finally reopen on Thursday, December 2nd. Located on Seventh Street south of Bethany Home Road, the little bar is known for its live music and performances designed as a tribute to Chez Nous, a Phoenix bar popular in the 1960s that originally belonged to Andy and Maureen Womack the name, according to The Womack’s website, reopened, but after a lengthy shutdown, The Womack is reopening with a bang. The Womack’s Grand Reopening weekends reopening include: Thursday December 2nd: Food by Hungry Homie Pop-up, DJ Set by Recordable radio. Friday, December 3rd: Good Boys Chicken Sandwich Pop-up, music by Steven Himmelstein Trio and DJ Teddy Oso. Saturday, December 4th: The Roscoe Taylor Band, DJs Jake Stellarwell and TK Nicholson.
