Olmost The Weekend: Pizza Festival is back and better than ever in Phoenix November 13-14 The smell of pizza could fill the air of Phoenix on November 13-14 as the Pizza Festival is back and all kinds of cakes served at Margaret T. Hance Park. Tickets must be purchased in advance. PHOENIX – From New York-style pizza to Chicago deep dish, find all types of pizza at the Phoenix Pizza Festival on November 13th and 14th in Margaret T. Hance Park. “This is actually the first food festival in a Phoenix city park since the pandemic began,” said David Tyda, co-founder of the festival. “It’s cool to be a part of her return.” There will be 20 vendors spread across the park and this time there will be some changes. On the second day there won’t be a donut festival like you would normally see or taste in the years before. But there will be a turn. “We have a couple of vendors who keep the flames alive. There’s a place called Local Donut, Hertz Donuts and then Chin Up Donuts that makes the pizza donut. Being out there to make sure donuts matter.” said Tyda jokingly. One of the sellers who will be there is Floridino. They have a restaurant in Chandler and they serve what they are best known for – pizza muffins. “They have a food box, they can go to festivals and events with these pizza muffins,” Tyda said. They are filled with different toppings and are rolled up like a cinnamon roll. Once cooked – they’re just delicious. Another seller who will be there is Bored Baker Pizza Maker, known for their Roman style pizza. “What’s different than this type of pizza?” Almost everything. It only looks like Sicilian or Detroit when you look at it, so it’s almost like pancake batter when you make it, ”said Guillermo Manga, owner of Bored Baker Pizza Maker. More information and tickets can be found here to buy tickets in advance. General admission is $ 12, and children under three years of age have free admission.
