Twin Peaks is expanding its reach and bringing more scenic views, fresh food and 29-degree beer to The Valley with the recent implementation of a new franchise deal. Joe Hummel, CEO of Twin Peaks, announced today that the company has signed an area development agreement with existing franchise partner Carolyn Vangelos – along with her husband and business partner Andy Bayless and real estate developer and franchise partner Jay Schneider – to create the AZ Peaks restaurant portfolio of the trio to expand Greater Phoenix. Vangelos, Bayless and Schneider expect three new lodges to open in the area, with the first of the new restaurants slated to open in September 2022. Another restaurant will be built every year until 2024. “We are so proud of the AZ Peaks restaurant team and all of their success in The Valley,” says Hummel. “This franchise team is at the forefront when it comes to franchise partners and they never stop working towards more! The larger Phoenix community is as lucky as we are to have such a dedicated group bringing the area to popular spots for prime time games, ice cold beers and homemade food. ”AZ Peaks Restaurant signed its first franchise agreement with Twin Peaks in 2012 after being drawn to the brand’s energetic, sporty branding and delicious menu. The group opened its first Twin Peaks Restaurant in 2013 and currently operates four locations in Arizona in Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. “Working with the Twin Peaks leadership and support team has been a great experience for our group,” says Carolyn Vangelos. “There is a direct line of communication and open conversations for construction, design, training and operations that have allowed us to expand rapidly in line with the rapid growth of the Phoenix area. We look forward to adding the brand to our portfolio and bringing the acclaimed Twin Peaks sports experience to more of Phoenix. ”
