PHOENIX – While some major events have taken place regardless of the ongoing pandemic – Spring Training, Phoenix Open, Barrett-Jackson, and NBA Finals – it has been over a year for many that smaller neighborhood events that resemble music and meals, More than a year has passed and beverage festivals have started. Coming in the fall, when event organizers usually get the most out of Arizona’s cooler climate, there are a number of festivals, occasions, and traveling exhibitions for you to try. LATE SUMMER EVENTS AND FESTIVALS 26.08. – 11/28 | Immersive Van Gogh Experience – This huge immersive touring artwork approaches Old Town Scottsdale. It combines large projections and films of Van Gogh’s famous works of art along with “Starry Night” and “Sunflowers” ​​with music and sound results. Further information August 27th – September 5th | Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru – A tour drive-thru attraction featuring 70+ animatronic dinosaurs that roar and move, along with a 15-meter-long megalodon and a 25-meter-long Spinosaurus. September 4th | CreekWest Summer Fest – On the first Saturday of the month, local businesses in Frontier Town, an old western town in Cave Creek, host video games and promotions, treats and specials for children. There is no entry fee, but meals and video games can have their own prices. Oct 1 – Nov 1 | Vertuccio Farm Autumn Festival – The Mesa Farm celebrates autumn with a month-long competition with a pumpkin barn, barrel exercises, petting zoo, mini golf, leisure time and various activities. Oct 8-10 | Four Peaks Tempe Oktoberfest – After the cancellation in 2020, the Tempe Oktoberfest 2021 will take place again for its forty-ninth Bavarian competition in Tempe Beach Park. The three day event may include residence music, Four Peaks beer on the tap along with Pumpkin Porter and Oktoberfest, a mini carnival with honest meals and rides, and various rides. Oct 9 | Peoria Country Fest – Country singers David Nail, Bayou Bandits and Ivan Harshman will headline the Peoria Country Fest, a lakefront music competition, in Pleasant Harbor on Lake Pleasant. Oct 9-10 | Sedona Arts Festival – For the 30th time in 2021, more than 100 artists from all over the country will showcase their work. There can even be music, meals, a beer and vineyard, and raffles. More information. 14.-17. Oct. | Country Thunder Arizona – Dustin Lynch, Old Dominion, Luke Combes and Eric Church will lead the four-day desert music competition in Florence, Arizona. Old Dominion changed Morgan Wallen. In addition, Meghan Patrick, Hardy, Mitchell Tenpenny, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, Parmalee, among others, will perform. November 6th | Arizona Republic Food & Wine Experience – A premier food and drink competition that showcases “The Best Chefs, Wines, and Food in Our Communities.” In addition to beer and wine tastings, local chefs and restaurants can also offer bite-sized tastings for individuals. More information. 6-7 November | Phoenix Pride Parade and Festival – Phoenix Pride will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2021 after the 2020 celebrations had to be postponed due to the pandemic. This year, the Grand Marshals embrace former board members and government officials. Neon Trees, Melanie Fiona, Jenn Cuneta, Maribel Guardia and Los Horoscopos de Durango will lead the main levels of the competition. More information. November 6th | Good Life Festival – After years of trilogy in the Encanterra neighborhood, the Good Life Festival hits Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek. The event has been postponed due to the pandemic in 2020 and is expected to return in 2021. Don Felder, who served as lead guitarist for the Eagles and started a solo career, will headline the event.
