PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A broken hearted mother tearfully asks “Why?” when she confronts her daughter’s alleged murderer during a virtual court hearing. The suspect, Andre Daniels, is accused of murdering 30-year-old Shavone Robinson in front of her three young children in May and then leaving the children at home for almost a week. Police arrest a man accused of killing Phoenix’s mother in May. The mother of the murdered woman was given the opportunity to make a victim representative statement during Daniels’ virtual appearance in court last Friday. “How could you do that?” she asked Daniels crying. “You are a very, very sick person!” “I hope you rot. Just rot, ”she continued. “You stole that from us. Police say officers were called to an apartment near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road on May 17 after receiving reports of children crying and begging neighbors for food from the second-floor terrace of an apartment unit. The officers knocked on the door but no one answered, so they climbed a ladder to get onto the terrace to help the children and get inside. Once inside, officers found Robinson dead in a pool of blood. She had been stabbed multiple times in the neck, face and upper body. Robinson’s one month old baby was lying on the floor nearby. Court documents say the baby had multiple fractures and bleeding in the brain while the two toddlers vomited and suffered from dehydration on the patio at ages 3 and 2. Investigators believe the children were there for five days before police rescued them. “You did all of this and left it all to my little babies for them to see? And she lay there for who knows how many days? And the children were watching their mother there? ”Robinson’s mother asked the suspect, crying. “What did she do to you that you took her away from me?” Detectives believe Daniels was the one-month-old’s father and that he wanted Robinson to have an abortion when she told him she was pregnant. “I think the death penalty? It’s too easy, ”said the victim’s mother to Daniels. “I want you to live until God takes you. I want you to suffer behind these bars.” Family Speak After Woman Found Murdered In Phoenix Home; 3 children saved Daniels, who previously served a prison sentence for kidnapping, is charged with first degree murder and child molestation. He is being held on a $ 3 million bond. “He really destroyed our family,” said the victim’s mother. “And I don’t know why.” When the judge asked Daniels if he would like to answer the mother’s testimony, he said no.
