The Four Peaks Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake has been celebrated for almost 50 years. For various reasons, however, the event will not take place this year. The Chandler site will host the event on October 2nd and Tempe will celebrate on October 9th. Enjoy live music, beer mug competitions, beverage specials and the long-awaited release of the Oktoberfest beer from Pedal Haus. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Olive Grove next to the Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen comes alive with live music, beer garden bites (think of pretzels and bratwurst) and free tastings of German beers. A different local brewery is showcased every Friday, starting with Four Peaks at 1.6114 N.
