The last year and a half have changed the way people work. Working from home has become the norm, but that no longer means being confined to your own home. Zinqué The French-inspired restaurant and bar on Scottsdale Fashion Square has indoor and outdoor seating. The inside creates a calm environment that makes productivity easier. The terrace has a fireplace and plants make for a perfect place for socializing. They are open every day at 7 a.m. and offer a wide range of food and drinks at any time of the day. 2. The Henry The Henry, located on 44th Street and Camelback Road, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers a classic effortless style with all kinds of seating and a full service restaurant and bar. Whether you are working or attending meetings, the Henry has a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. 3. Provisioning Coffee Provisioning is located on Campbell Avenue and 32nd Street and is open 6:30 am to 8:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and 6:30 am to 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. The atmosphere and the hours make it the perfect place to have caffeine and work or have a cocktail after a long day. Provision was founded in 2011 and has set itself the goal of not just producing perfectly craft coffee, but a community. Founders Dan and Lawrence traveled the world to fully understand the life cycle of coffee. After mastering their coffee, the duo decided it was time to expand into cocktails and food. Just like her coffee, it was refined until it was perfect. 4. Kahvi Coffee + Cafe The newest tenant in the monOrchid building on Roosevelt and 3rd Street, Kahvi Coffee + Cafe offers a relaxed atmosphere inspired by a mixture of two cultures, Scandinavia and Tulum, Mexico. The cafe also has a bar with wine and beer. At the back of the cafe is a gallery with works by local artists. 5. 32 Shea 32 Shea has served coffee, food, and cocktails for over a decade. The room changes completely from day to night. In the morning the room resembles an espresso bar, which offers a good working atmosphere, from 4 p.m. the room becomes a dark and cozy lounge. Vegetation surrounds the patio, creating an oasis, and it’s dog-friendly. 6. Lux With two locations in the Valley, Lux is an ideal place to get work done with coffee, baked goods, meals and a variety of seating options. It doesn’t matter whether the guests prefer to work early or late, because Lux is open from Sunday to Thursday from 6 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. 7. The Churchill Located in the Roosevelt Art’s District, The Churchill is home to ten local businesses and has a 9,000 square foot courtyard. The open-air courtyard is nice to work and a meeting place for the community, perfect for the Phoenix Fall. 8. Schmooze Bar and Breakfast Located near Goldwater Boulevard and Indian School Road, Schmooze Bar and Breakfast is aimed at professionals looking for a private, club-like setting for meetings, recruiting and work. They have several conference rooms that can be rented. With food, coffee, and cocktails, it’s a unique place that is very different from other coffee and cocktail bars. 9. Luci’s Marketplace From warm starters to salads and sandwiches to take away, there is something for every guest. Inside, guests will find a small market that sells gifts, beer, and wine. The new concept, The Other Bar, recently opened in the market square and opens at 3pm. Although there is less seating available, the bookstore atmosphere provides a quiet and unique place that is great for reading and working.
